We are dedicated to providing our students with the technology they need to succeed in their academic endeavors. This fall, we are launching a new initiative and will be providing each student at Mohawk Trail Regional School in grades 7 through 12 with an assigned Chromebook.
The vision and goal of this new program is to engage students with technology that will support their educational experience as well as encourage and foster critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration with peers, while connecting them with tools of the 21st century.
Parents/guardians are responsible for a protection plan fee to cover any accidental damage, or if opting out of that, will be responsible for any repair costs associated with damage to the Chromebook and power adapter. Additionally, we require all families to complete and return the Chromebook program handbook agreement form.
Chromebook Information Sessions
Prior to issuing Chromebooks to students, we hosted two information sessions to discuss the program, answer questions, and outline expectations. If you couldn’t make it but still have questions, please feel free to contact our school administrators at any time! We’re happy to help!
